Sparkadia Postcards Rar Download

2008-12-15 00:17:31 This year has no doubt been an amazing year for music, there have been so many great and fantastic releases from a myriad of different artists! It would be difficult to choose one album to be my personal favorite album of the year, but one album hooked me from the very beginning, and still proves to amaze me every time I turn it on. I have been and will be listening to it for a long time to come, and now for the moment of truth.

My pick for best album of 2008 is. Grieves - 88 Keys & Counting This album is so amazing that I can hardly contain my awe when I'm listening to it. Besides Grieves spectacular performance, and thought-provoking and complex lyrics which portray such great imagery, the music is beautifully haunting and creates an atmosphere in the album which sucks you in and brings you into an entire new reality of music. Don't just listen to this album, listen to it. Let it take you to a place in your mind and engulf you. If you love music, you'll probably understand what I'm talking about.
If you're unfamiliar with Grieves, I highly recommend him. The album is a rap album, but if you don't like rap don't let that scare you away! His style is very unique and this album is incredible. Thank you to Grieves and Budo for putting out such a fantastic release. If you're unfamiliar with Grieves, please go here now: My favorite tracks on this album are Dead in the Water, Catapults, Kings, Identity Cards (Feat.
Luckyiam), Nature vs Nurture, Greedy Bitch, and Cloud Man. The three instrumental tracks within the album ( Life in the Hive, The March, and Exiting the Hive, are also superb interludes within the album and take the listening experience to a new level). This is probably my favorite verse in the entire album: 'I've been livin' in this winter you provided me, And eatin' all these pages of this history inside of me, For what?
Just so you can run around the graveyard Scream at the Heavens and sink the boat that you came on? I can't even really think of what dropped this year, i'm still bumping shit from last year mainly.
Last year we got new aesop rock, new el-p, new grayskul, new mac lethal, new busdriver, new rob sonic etc. It was a hell of a year this year sucked in comparison. Mac Lethal is quite amazing, and I still end up listening to his stuff more, but with 88 Keys, Grieves is slowly catching up in my opinion. Yeah his style is slow, but it's pulled off so well and works for him, and that's not to say he can't go faster (Pace picks up on songs like Identity Cards and Black Clover Posse Cut), but yeah, I see your point. And what about the Crown Prime Rib Mixtape from Mac this year? Alright it wasn't like a studio release, but it still was a new release haha, and I enjoyed it.
